A large specialty chemicals and bulk drugs trading company was faced with a challenge to track inquires, evaluate customers, track buy and sell rates and evaluate the propensity of the deal.

A web based CRM application developed by Base provides them “on the fly” information to the trading desk to execute an informed deal instead of a “back of the mind” approach. The trading desk is able to collate and chronologically record sales inquiries, analyze buy and sell quantities and rates enabling them to make informed decision based on historical transactions of the buyer and the seller.

The system also minimizes pilferage of sensitive information with respect to rates and customer buying behavior, as information is stored centrally and audit trails are maintained.
